The H-MD-40-921-960 filter is a 40-channel DWDM protocol transparent Mux/Demux unit in accordance with the ITU-T G.694.1 100GHz grid. The filter is a 1RU filter for rack mount. The channels operate in the standard C-band in dual fiber working configuration.The channel pass-band is wide enough to support 400Gbps 16QAM signals.

The H-MD-40-921-960 has two Monitor ports that tap off 1% of the transmitted and received line signal. This provides the ability to monitor the channel power levels via a connected Optical Channel Monitoring (OCM) device or an optical spectrum analyzer.
