SO-SFP-1000BASE-MMXD is a 1310nm SFP transceiver for MultiMode (MM) fiber for Fast Ethernet (FE), Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) and 1G Fiber Channel (1G FC) services. It also supports other protocols within this bit rate range. The optical performance provides a bridgeable distance of up to 1km.
This transceiver provides digital diagnostic functions via a 2-wire serial interface as defined by the SFF-8472 specification.
